Chapter Four
-At the zoo-
French Fry slowly walked towards where Big Fry and Small Fry were standing under the tree, slobbering all over their ice-creams. She gave a small snort and looked away.
"Why must I go through this...?" she whispered brokenly and quicken her pace. The faster I do it, the faster it'll be over. She took and deep breath to calm herself and stopped in front of Big Fry.
"Hey~ ^_^" Big Fry grinned at French Fry sheepishly, still blushing from the time Small Fry made the call.
French Fry stared back and held her breath. Wow. He's so tall, I didn't notice before...
*SLAP*
O_O <--- Big Fry who stood frozen in spot.
O_O <--- Small Fry whose ice-cream dropped at the same time.
O_O <--- French Fry who seemed shocked at what she just did.
French Fry turned and ran away, tears started falling down her face. There! I've done it. She wiped back the tears with her sleeve. I must not cry.... But as if defying her thoughts, more tears spilled over her eyes.
"Kor... Why did she slap you?" an innocent voice piped up, not knowing how much the words pierced Big Fry's heart. It was as if saying it out loud hurt him even more.
"..............." Big Fry stared blanky at Small Fry, unable to answer him. "Lets go... home." he finally choke the words out and held firmly onto Small Fry's, his cheek burning from the slap French Fry gave him.

Big Fry lost contact with French Fry after several months of not seeing her. No one knew what happened to French Fry who suddenly left school and migrated to another country, nor Big Fry who left for UK to further his studies end of that year and migrated there. Both lived their lives happily, and not so happily (happily ever after only happens in fairy tales, ok)... ever after - till they die. Although they didn't see each other since the day at the zoo, they both often remembered the other as one who's special and unique in many different ways.
Big Fry can only thank French Fry for slapping him that day. He wouldn't have found Soggy Fry (his wife) if he continued going after French Fry.
French Fry didn't marry but devoted herself to God and her family.

Yes. Big and French are officially NOT TOGETHER and they are living happy lives. As their autobiographer cum manager, I insist that all their fan mail and presents go through me before going to them. Heh heh. Thanks for reading, and yawning for some... Hahaha! Have a great weekend.
